“It’s a Femininomenon!”: The WAGs of the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is upon us, and the anticipation for the big game is building! However, it just wouldn’t be right if we didn’t talk about the fabulous women behind these two powerhouse teams. It is time to meet some of the WAGs of the Super Bowl!

Brittany Mahomes

Wife to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes is just so iconic! The pair met in high school way back in 2012 and have been together ever since. An incredible athlete herself, Brittany played soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler and then signed with a professional team in 2017—the same year the Chiefs drafted Patrick. Talk about a power couple!

As their relationship has grown, so has their family. Now parents of three, the Mahomes family added a new addition in January, a baby girl named Golden Raye, with their other two children also being named after strong metals: Sterling Skye, 3; and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 2.

Not only is Brittany a supermom, but she is a supermodel! Gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated Swim in February of 2024, she sure let us know that she is ‘that girl’!

Anna Congdon

Fiancée of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and mom of two, Anna Congdon is breaking the Internet with her unique style and absolute beauty! Starting their relationship back in 2017, Anna and Saquon met at the University of Pennsylvania State and quickly went from fraternity dates to serious partners.

In 2018, the pair welcomed their first child, a daughter named Jada, and just two short days later, Saquon was drafted as the second overall pick. In 2022, the couple welcomed their second child, a son named Saquon Jr.

In her appearance at the NFC Championship matchup between the Commanders and Eagles, Anna styled pinstripe pants, a crisp white button-up, and a tie with Saquon’s old varsity jacket from Penn State for her game-day fit. How absolutely adorable! In a tear-jerking Instagram post, Anna wrote, “If I could wrap my arms around this memory, I would…” We are so glad she is loving life in Philly and cannot wait to see more of her and her sweet family! Tia Jones

Tia Jones, a phenomenal athlete herself, is engaged to Kansas City wide receiver Xavier Worthy! In July of 2024, Jones took to Instagram to post a video of the beautiful beach proposal, captioned “The Worthy’s”. Worthy got some hype during his record-breaking 40-yard dash at the NFL combine, running an insanely fast 4.21! It only makes sense that a quick guy like this would get his speed from his track and field counterpart. While we aren’t 100% sure when this stunning pair got together, Xavier did cheer on Tia during her time at the 2024 Paris Olympic Trials this past summer.

Near the beginning of last year, Tia matched the world record for 60m hurdles at 7.67 seconds while competing at the United States Track and Field Indoor Championship. Due to an ACL injury later on in the year, Jones had to withdraw from the World Athletics Indoor Championship, but at only 24 years old, it is safe to say she has an incredible career in front of her! Always dressed to impress when cheering on her favorite guy, Tia definitely knows how to show up and show out!

Bry Burrows

The King of Philadelphia needs a queen! Bry Burrows is the fiancée of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, and my, oh my, is she fabulous. Back in January 2023, the pair were first spotted together after an NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers, the most iconic hard launch! In an interview with Essence, Jalen Hurts stated that the two had dated on and off since their days at the University of Alabama and that he knew for a long time that Bry was the one for him. How cute!

Bry graduated from Bama with a degree in Spanish and political science and then went on to receive her master's degree in business at Alabama’s Manderson School of Business. Since then, Burrows has risen through the ranks at a tech company as a sales executive and software financier. Beauty and brains, talk about a double threat!

Jalen and Bry got engaged back in September of 2024, and we are very eager for the wedding of the leading couple in the state of Brotherly Love!

Taylor Swift

Does she even need an introduction? Fourteen-time Grammy winner and worldwide pop star Taylor Swift is the girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce…Or is he the boyfriend of Taylor? Known nearly everywhere in the world, Taylor has become a regular sighting at Kansas City games, and we just adore the support she shows her beau and his team!

The couple were first linked back in 2023 after she performed at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour. On an episode of his podcast New Heights, Travis iconically admitted to writing his number on a friendship bracelet in hopes it would make its way to Taylor. Fast forward to September 2023, when Taylor is first spotted at a Chiefs game! And the rest is history. We love seeing this couple shine together in their own respected careers.

Speaking of respected careers…let's take a quick look at some of Taylor’s many accomplishments! Of course, the Eras Tour, where she has performed on almost every continent in the world and gave her crowd a nonstop 3-hour jam sesh. Reportedly, Taylor prepared for her tour by singing her entire set while running on a treadmill; talk about commitment. Throughout her very long career, Ms. Swift has won tons of awards, including winning American Music Artist of the Year seven times. We are so ready to see where her career continues to take her!

Mya Danielle

What a way to kick off the New Year! DeVonta Smith, wide receiver for the Eagles, recently got engaged to long-time girlfriend Mya Danielle. Mya is a social media personality with an eye for fashion, partnering with popular companies like Abercrombie to style her game-day fits!

This former Heisman Trophy winner knows what it means to be a great dad. Welcoming a beautiful baby girl named Kyse Danielle back in 2023, the couple is now expecting their second child together! Showing nothing but support for her new fiancé, Mya took to Instagram to celebrate the Eagles NFC Championship win with stunning family photos. Turning into an accidental meme, Kyse showed her love for her dad through a pretty intense side-eye. Such a cutie!
