The Hottest Spring Trends in Sports Fashion
With spring approaching, we always want to keep up with the season's trends. As Cholé fashion week unfolds, we're seeing many spring styles we love- many of which we have seen on athletes this year. As we take inspiration from the runway and our favorite athletes, here is a look at the top five spring fashion trends we are seeing.
Denim
Denim has always been a staple in fashion, but lately, it’s taken on more than just classic blue jeans. We have seen Western style make waves in the fashion world and within athletes' closets. Bruce Brown Jr. and Russell Westbrook perfectly sport the cowboy trend, but denim goes much further than Western aesthetics. From jorts and jackets to bold, reimagined jeans and button-ups, athletes are redefining how denim is worn. Take a look at some of these denim looks.
When searching for a new pair of blue jeans, follow in trendy athletes' footsteps and step outside your comfort zone with something unique. Dare some jorts, or add a jean jacket as a timeless staple to your closet.
Jerseys
Fun fact: Jerseys aren’t just for the field and court-they’re a fashion statement. Many athletes have been arriving to their games rocking retro jerseys, mixing them with baggy style pants or layering throwback designs. We've seen basketball players sporting football jerseys and other athletes embracing vintage jersey styles. Whether worn with jeans or shorts, layered or worn solo, jerseys make a great fit. Even shirts with bold numbers repped on the front capture that jersey-inspired vibe. We know that jerseys are set to be a major trend this spring.
Jerseys aren’t just available at your local sporting goods store or at the game site souvenir shop. This spring, you can find all kinds of fashionable jersey-type shirts across some of your favorite clothing brand sites.
Bold Jewelry

An outfit isn’t complete without a bold, eye-catching piece of jewelry. Many athletes elevate their style off the court with a variety of accessories such as chains, charm bracelets, and studs, adding the perfect finishing touch. Furthermore, some athletes like to take it to the next level and accessorize on the court.
For example, Andrey Rublev, the Russian tennis player loves to stack a variety of bracelets behind his wrist sweatbands. These aren’t your mom’s tennis bracelet with rows of diamonds but rather include a massive variety such as beaded, woven, and chain bracelets.
Rublev is a Bulgari ambassador, often wearing one of their watches. However, the beaded bracelet trend is one we can more easily afford. They’re also perfect for spring when the colors start to pop.
Yellow

If you can’t find it in yourself to add to your wardrobe then perhaps just embracing this spring’s hottest color drop is the way to go. Coco Gauff just wore a beautiful yellow dress to the Oscar’s making us all want to shine like the sunlight as we get more daylight this weekend.
Butter yellow is set to take over the runways as it is the season's new top color. The soft shade is everywhere, from Timothée Chalamet strutting the Oscars in a butter yellow suit to one of Sabrina Carpenter's signature tour looks. Honestly, we can’t help but want to add some butter yellow to our closets.
We love seeing butter yellow in our Lululemon catalogs and are finding ways to incorporate it into our workout wardrobes.
Ballet Pink
Yellow isn’t the only color making its way into 2025 spring fashion. Ballet pink offers a soft, elegant touch– adding color without overwhelming an outfit. Athletes like Nika Muhl, the Seattle Storm's guard, have embraced this shade in a stylish dress, while tennis player Caroline Dolehide wore it as a uniform this week during the BNP Paribas, showcasing that ballet pink is a versatile color in the world of sporty fashion.
You can add pastel pink to all your workouts because it’s popping up everywhere, like bubble gum on websites such as LuluLemon, Zara, and Athleta, to name a few. Nothing says SPRING like a few pastel colors to motivate your workouts as we prep our own athletic form for summer.
