One Year of Travis and Taylor
One year ago, Travis Kelce attended the Eras Tour, beginning a 'Love Story' that would captivate the world. Over the past year, Swifties and football fans have continuously fallen in love with the couple, the sports, and Taylor Swift's incredible music. Here's a timeline of the past year.

July 2023
During the 2nd night of a two-night stint in Kansas City on July 8th, Travis Kelce attended Taylor’s concert at Arrowhead Stadium, where he plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. While at the concert, he traded friendship bracelets with fans and watched Taylor perform from a private booth.
On July 26th, the New Heights podcast posted a clip of Travis telling his brother Jason that he took a friendship bracelet with his number on it to the concert. He did not specify if it was the number on his jersey or his phone number. Travis couldn't give it to Taylor during the concert, but he could 'Shake It Off' and stay 'Enchanted' with her.
Taylor told Time Magazine that the relationship "all started when Travis very adorably put [her] on blast on his podcast, which [she] thought was metal as hell.” Shortly after that, the two started to hang out.

On The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce casually mentioned inviting Taylor to watch him play. This sparked a lot of speculation about the nature of their relationship, leading many to wonder if the two were a couple.
‘The Very First Night’ the two were seen together was September 24. Taylor attended the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears, where she sat next to Travis’s mother, Donna Kelce. By this time, Taylor admits that they were already a couple.
October 2023

At this point, the NFL truly became Taylor’s Version as she continued to attend games. The couple said ‘Welcome to New York’ as they were seen in the Big Apple holding hands after separate surprise appearances on “Saturday Night Live’s” season premiere on October 14.
On October 22nd, Taylor Swift was seen doing a special handshake with Brittany Mahomes at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. LA Chargers game.
November 2023

On November 11, 2023, all suspicions of a relationship were confirmed. Travis traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina, for her tour stop. In this iconic moment during the concert, Taylor switched up the lyrics to ‘Karma’ to be “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.” After the concert, Taylor ran into Travis’s arms and kissed him. The ‘happiness’ from the crowd was palpable during the iconic moment.
Later that month, Travis appeared on WSJ Magazine, where he opened up about the relationship. In the article, he referred to Taylor as a ‘genius’ and ‘hilarious’.
December 2023

Not surprisingly, in December, Taylor Swift was named Time magazine’s “Person of the Year,” proving she is the ‘Mastermind’. During an interview with the magazine, she shared more about her tour and her relationship with Travis.
January 2024

There was an ‘Electric Touch’ as the couple rang in the New Year with a kiss. Later that month, Taylor met more of the Kelse crew at a playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. During the New Heights podcast episode on Jan 24, 2024, Travis confirms that Taylor loved meeting Kylie and Jason.
February 2024
With NFL viewership numbers on the rise, more people began embracing the Taylor/Travis crossover and its benefits for fans. Donna Kelce told CNN, “I truly believe that it’s bringing families closer. Sports tends to do that.”
On February 11, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs won the Superbowl. The couple was ‘Tied Together With a Smile’ as Taylor and Travis exchanged kisses during the celebration after their win.
To round out the eventful month, Travis was attending concerts in Australia with Taylor.
April 2024

The month started strong with the couple attending Coachella together.
On April 19, Taylor’s album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was released, and fans immediately looked for lyrics related to Travis. ‘The Alchemy' and 'So High School’ seem to hint at Travis.
May 2024

During the 2nd annual “Kelce Jam,” Travis told Access Hollywood that 1989 is his favorite era, and it could be because it was the year he was born. Regardless of the reason, ‘This Love’ seems to be the real deal.
While on a break from the European portion of the Eras Tour, Travis and Taylor were seen vacationing in Italy together.
June 2024

Travis Kelce officially made it on Taylor’s Instagram when she posted a picture of them with the royal family in London. To make the London portion of the tour more special, a few nights later, on June 23, Travis was ‘Fearless’ and performed on stage with Taylor. She wrote, “I’m still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut 🥰” We’re swooning too.
July 2024

Rounding out the last year, Travis opened up on the New Heights podcast earlier this month, saying that his one goal during the concert was not to drop his ‘Lover.’
Over the last 366 days, Taylor and Travis have proven that their ‘Love Story’ is one worth following. We can’t wait to see what this story holds and if Travis will be 'the 1'.
