Gamecock Goals: MiLaysia Fulwiley and JaMeesia Ford
Forget brackets and baton passes; these two have already won March. These two standout student-athletes from the University of South Carolina are not just couple goals, ESPN Top 10 material and Vogue cover-worthy. Here's why!

MiLaysia Fulwiley
The babe baller of this couple, MiLaysia, started her career in Columbia, South Carolina. While in seventh grade, she was already showing her talent in the game, being pulled up to play varsity with the high school team. With over 3,000 points and four state championships under her belt, she joined the Gamecocks. Last year, as a freshman, she aimed to maintain her high school legacy. She was named the MVP of the SEC tournament, received the SEC Sixth Player of the Year award, and went undefeated during the season. Additionally, she became the first college athlete to sign a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with the Curry Brand.

JaMeesia Ford
The striking sprinter and the other half of this couple is JaMeesia. This 200m and 400m sprinter from Hampton, Virginia, began her career at age nine. During her time at Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, she scored gold in both her events. Last year, as just a baby Gamecock, she was the NCAA Indoor 200m Champion in 22.34, she clinched the U20 300m record in 35.83, and she was the SEC Freshman Runner of the Year.

Together
As one might expect, they first met in the fall. Sparks flew with their teams, spending time together, and a connection began to form. Later that year, in March, they were captured dancing together in a TikTok video—and just like their footwork, the dating rumors took off in perfect rhythm. At USC, their freshman year was filled with accomplishments and triumphs; both were honored as Freshmen of the Year but achieved the ultimate victory: finding the perfect partner. MaLaysia shared a photo dump of their relationship this past Valentine's Day, and we are excited to cheer them on during March Madness and the outdoor track season.
